Master Dimarock 07 in numbers:

The event lasted two days, more than 5,000 people attended the different acts scheduled.

Baltzola Cave: The organization geared up the proper conditions for a new world record attempt, however this attempt couldn’t take place due to the extreme humidity conditions at Baltzola cave. Instead, the climbers performed a sport climbing exhibition at Dima square.
Dry-Tooling exhibition was the major innovation in this edition. The top specialists in Spain performed a superb exhibition of this young sport, more than 1,000 people were delighted with this show.

Dimarock open counted with a total of 30 climbers, as well as with a faithful attendance along the qualifyng and final rounds.

Finally, the main event (Dima Rockmaster) counted with several of the top specialist of the sport, and was followed live by an attendance of 3,00 people. Unfortunately, the attendance was lowered by the uncomfortable weather (rain storms happened all weekend long). The winner title  was taken by Patxi Usobiaga in men’s and the Austrian climber Angela Eiter in women’s.

The event was broadcasted on ETB-1 (Euskara channel) reaching very interesting TV audiencies rate.
